Developed based on the country's rich national-historical experience and universal values, the concept is designed to ensure a stable environment for realizing the common interests of society in a multi-ethnic and multi-confessional Uzbekistan. It promotes peaceful coexistence and steady development based on the principles of democracy, secularism, freedom, equality, social justice, and solidarity.
The goal of Uzbekistan's state policy in the religious sphere is to create equal conditions for citizens to exercise their right to freedom of conscience, promote mutual understanding and respect between religious organizations of different faiths, strengthen interfaith harmony, and ensure religious tolerance and secularism in society.
