3,329.5 hectares of land put up for e-auction for entrepreneurship

In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, PF-18, dated February 3, 2025, 3,329.5 hectares of land have been put up for auction through the "e-auksion" platform. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
This initiative paves the way for introducing a more open and transparent system for land sales. Auction winners, in addition to expanding their rights, also take on a number of obligations.
Under the decree, the winners of the auction will have the following rights:
Independent selection of agricultural crops: Winners independently determine the types, varieties, and volumes of agricultural crops, allowing them to choose the most economically efficient methods.
Water supply: Auction winners have the right to a guaranteed volume of water within annual limits and are entitled to claim damages if obligations are not met.
Lease agreement: Auction winners have the right to sublet the land parcels and transfer their rights to other parties in accordance with the terms of the agreement.
