Uzbekistan’s boxing team continues its winning streak at the World Championships in Liverpool. On the previous day, all 7 Uzbek boxers who stepped into the ring secured victories, extending the team’s undefeated run.
The winners were Nigina Oktamova (54 kg), Shavkatjon Boltayev (70 kg), Turabek Habibullayev (90 kg), Navbahor Khamidova (65 kg), Abdumalik Khalokov (60 kg), Fazliddin Erkinboev (75 kg), and Jahongir Zokirov (+90 kg). Most of the bouts ended with clear dominance from the Uzbek fighters.
Today, nine more athletes will enter the ring: Feruza Kazakova (51 kg), Sitora Turdibekova (60 kg), Mirazizbek Mirzahalilov (55 kg), Javohir Ummataliyev (80 kg), Sabina Bobokulova (48 kg), Aziza Zokirova (70 kg), Shodiyorjon Melikuziev (50 kg), Asadkhoja Muydin khojayev (65 kg), and Akmaljon Isroilov (85 kg).
