70 trillion soums in motion: Uzbekistan's transport on the rise

According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-May 2025, the volume of transport services provided in Uzbekistan amounted to 70.7 trillion soums, which is 14% more than in the same period last year. The figures confirm the continuous growth of logistical activity and demand for transport solutions across the country.
The largest share of transport services falls on the city of Tashkent, where 15.5 trillion soums worth of services were provided during the reporting period. This is almost a quarter of the total volume in the country. High indicators were also recorded in the following regions:
Samarkand region - 4.8 trillion soums
Tashkent region - 4.8 trillion soums
Fergana region - 3.8 trillion soums
Andijan region - 3 trillion soums
The growth of transport in these regions can be linked to the active development of logistics infrastructure, the implementation of investment projects, and the revitalization of domestic trade.
