To clarify the details of the incident, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the leadership of Dubai's criminal investigation department. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' official channel, the Dubai side expressed concern about the increasing number of violations by Uzbek citizens.
In this regard, the visa-free regime between the two countries is under threat. Representatives of the UAE emphasized that if the negative dynamics continue, the agreement may be revised.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan issued an official appeal urging citizens of the republic abroad to refrain from actions that damage the honor and reputation of their compatriots:
"We urge citizens to refrain from actions that tarnish the honor of our compatriots abroad," the statement said.
