A Modern Ecotourism Complex Established in the Hilly Areas of Asaka

The hilly terrain of the Asaka district in the Andijan region is distinguished by its clean air and unique natural landscape.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the ecotourism complex established on a 192-hectare site within the "Yangi Hayot" area.
The project was implemented following the Head of State's directive and on the initiative of the Agency for Agro-Industrial Complex Development. This location, where nature and modern amenities blend harmoniously, has quickly become popular among local residents and tourists alike.
The complex is situated on a high hill, offering a picturesque panoramic view of the district.
Four modern capsule-style vacation cabins and five traditional-style yurts have been installed here. Ornamental and coniferous trees have been planted across 30 hectares. A family restaurant and various attractions have been set up, and a modern night-lighting system has been installed.
Special attention within the complex is paid to preserving the natural environment and using resources efficiently. A membrane-lined reservoir with a capacity of 14,000 cubic meters has been constructed on the site. Trees and plants are watered entirely via a drip irrigation system.
The total cost of the project is 51.8 billion soums. Its implementation has created 275 permanent and 200 seasonal jobs for the local population. Additionally, there are plans to export grapes grown in the orchard.
Projections indicate that the fully operational complex will generate 80 billion soums in annual service revenue and contribute 3 billion soums to the local budget.
The "Vinogradny Sad" (Grape Orchard) complex, set to be fully operational by the end of this year, is expected to become a major tourist attraction in the Andijan region.
Seated at a *dastarkhan* (traditional dining spread) set up at the site, the Head of State engaged in a warm conversation with regional officials and labor veterans. Discussions focused on the large-scale transformations underway in Andijan, the creation of new opportunities to improve the population's well-being, the beautification of *mahallas*, and the realization of youth potential.
A cultural program and a drone show were presented during the event.
