The remaining eight defendants were convicted under various provisions of the Criminal Code, including violations of personal data legislation, tax evasion, breaches of trade and service regulations, forgery and use of counterfeit documents, as well as other criminal offenses. The Shaykhantakhur District Criminal Court of Tashkent has sentenced Mubin Mirzayev, the former First Deputy Chairman of Uzbekistan's Tax Committee, along with eight other defendants. Officials reported that 41,000 tonnes of LPG were supplied in Andijan Region during the first half of the year against a target of 48,000 tonnes, while deliveries are behind schedule in 318 mahallas.
