Part of the upcoming film “Armour of God: Ultimatum” starring Jackie Chan may be filmed in Uzbekistan, according to Kazakhstan’s Salem Entertainment.

The company announced that it held a productive meeting with Uzbekfilm Studio and the Uzbek Agency of Cinematography. During the talks, the sides discussed the possibility of shooting a portion of the movie on the territory of Uzbekistan.

Earlier in October, it was reported that the fourth installment of the franchise would primarily be filmed in Kazakhstan. Now the project may expand to include Uzbekistan as well.

According to Salem Entertainment, the film is expected to become one of the largest productions in the history of Kazakh filmmaking.

“Armour of God” is a popular adventure film series starring Jackie Chan as an artifact hunter known as the Asian Hawk. The films are known for their stunts, humor, and globe-spanning searches for ancient relics. The first movie was released in 1986.
