Azerbaijan and Ukraine Expand Political and Economic Dialogue

Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, is paying an official visit to Ukraine, where he is holding talks with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and other senior officials. The agenda focuses on strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing regional and international security issues.
During the visit, Bayramov met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. According to the Ukrainian side, the discussions covered high-level diplomatic engagement, defence cooperation, and prospects for expanding economic ties in the energy, oil and gas, and agricultural sectors. Zelenskyy thanked Azerbaijan for its humanitarian and energy assistance to Ukraine and highlighted the constructive nature of bilateral dialogue.
Bayramov also held talks with Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. Before their meeting, the two ministers laid a wreath at the memorial dedicated to Ukraine's fallen defenders and viewed an exhibition of Ukrainian-made unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Azerbaijani foreign minister also met with Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak. The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in political, economic, energy, transport and humanitarian fields, while the two sides also exchanged views on regional security developments.
As part of the programme, the Azerbaijani delegation visited Irpin, where it toured facilities restored with Azerbaijan's financial and humanitarian assistance, including the Zarifa Aliyeva Lyceum and the city polyclinic. The delegation was also presented with a project to restore a cultural centre with the support of the Government of Azerbaijan.
