Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Concludes 14-Year Diplomatic Mission in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Huseyn Guliyev, as he concluded his diplomatic mission after fourteen years of service in Uzbekistan. During their meeting, the sides highlighted his significant contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership and allied relations between the two countries.
It was noted that throughout his tenure, Huseyn Guliyev earned deep respect not only as Azerbaijan’s distinguished representative but also as the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Uzbekistan. In recognition of his long-standing contribution to Uzbek-Azerbaijani cooperation, he was awarded Uzbekistan’s state orders “Do‘stlik” and “Mehnat Shuhrati”.
Bakhtiyor Saidov thanked the ambassador for his dedicated efforts to deepen friendship and mutual understanding between the two nations and wished him good health, family well-being, and continued success in his future endeavors.
