Bahrain-2025: Four Medals for Uzbekistan in Athletics

At the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, Team Uzbekistan continued its strong performance by winning four medals in athletics — one gold, two silver and one bronze — showcasing the growing potential of the country’s young athletes.
Uzbekistan’s delegation achieved another success at the Bahrain-2025 Asian Youth Games, claiming four medals in track and field events.
Gold – Nazmina Rahimjonova (1500 meters).
Silver – Muhammadaziz Nosirov (hammer throw) and Shahzodbek Kholmurodov (triple jump).
Bronze – Shodiyona Rahmonova (100-meter hurdles).
These results further strengthened Uzbekistan’s position in the overall medal standings. Today, Uzbek athletes are also competing in boxing, muay thai, MMA, taekwondo, volleyball, futsal, handball, cycling, and equestrian events, aiming to add more medals to the nation’s tally.
