Bahromjon Gaziev, Chairman of the Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports Federation of Uzbekistan, visited Stephex Stables in Belgium during the World Championship and met with Stephan Conter, founder of Stephex Group. The visit provided an opportunity to examine the experience of a prominent international centre for modern equestrian sport.
Stephex Group brings together several activities linked to equestrian sport and specialised transport. Its operations include horse transport manufacturing, sport horse activities, international events and auctions. The group includes Stephex Horsetrucks, Stephex Stables, Stephex Events and Stephex Auction.
A notable chapter in the sporting history of Stephex Stables involves Olympic champion Eric Lamaze and Hickstead. At the 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong, the pair won individual gold and team silver, marking one of the stable's most significant sporting achievements.
Stephex also organises international equestrian events, including the Brussels Stephex Masters and Knokke Hippique, with programmes featuring top-level international competition, including five-star classes.
