Bakhtiyor Saidov and Alexey Yerhov Discuss Further Development of Uzbekistan-Russia Ties

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received Alexey Yerhov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Uzbekistan, on September 28. The sides discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda and further development of relations between the two countries.
Particular attention was paid to further strengthening relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance. The sides reviewed continued cooperation across the broad range of areas covered by Uzbekistan-Russia relations.
Upcoming bilateral contacts were also discussed. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on current issues on the bilateral agenda and outlined further areas of interaction.
Bakhtiyor Saidov and Alexey Yerhov confirmed their readiness to continue close cooperation aimed at the consistent advancement of multifaceted ties between Uzbekistan and Russia.
Following the talks, the sides agreed to continue work on developing bilateral cooperation and maintaining regular contacts. The focus will remain on the consistent strengthening of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance, as well as on forthcoming bilateral contacts.
