Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held an official meeting with the President of Algeria, during which he conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the Algerian leader on behalf of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The parties discussed in detail the current state of bilateral relations and outlined strategic priorities for future engagement.
Following the talks, a conceptual agreement was reached to elevate cooperation to a qualitatively new level through the intensification of political dialogue. The officials placed special emphasis on the need to boost mutual trade volumes, stimulate investments, and strengthen cultural and humanitarian ties. During the meeting, the diplomats also conducted a comprehensive review of the international and regional agendas, aligning their positions on cooperation within global organizations. The Uzbek side underscored its full readiness to work jointly with Algerian partners, aiming to achieve tangible practical results in both the economic sphere and the diplomatic arena.
