On May 7, a meeting was held in Philadelphia with Miryusuf Mirsabirov, the founder of MIR TRANSPORTATION. The parties discussed specific mechanisms for integrating Uzbek products into major retail chains such as EMD SALES and NetCost. Special emphasis was placed on deeply processed fruit and vegetable products and the renowned BMB Za’faron brand. Bekzod Mamatkulov personally toured the infrastructure of the Philadelphia logistics center, studying the storage and distribution systems that will ensure the swift delivery of goods from Uzbekistan to American consumers.

Partnership with Costco Wholesale
The final and perhaps most significant chord of the visit was the negotiations in New York with the management of Costco Wholesale, one of the world’s largest retail chains. The parties reached agreements to increase export volumes and expand the variety of Uzbek products in the American market. The primary focus was set on the premium saffron segment and high-value-added agricultural goods. Meeting participants also outlined a plan to enhance export logistics to minimize delivery times.

The delegation's visit, organized with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the United States, confirmed the high competitiveness of the national brand. Immediately following the successful conclusion of the negotiations, the delegation headed to Tashkent to begin the practical implementation of the reached agreements.
