Biden to meet Zelensky at the White House

On 11 December, Zelensky will go on a business visit to the USA. The main topics to be discussed in Washington will be further cooperation between Ukraine and the USA in the military sphere, in particular, joint projects for the production of weapons and air defence systems, as well as coordination of efforts between the countries in 2024.

Biden to meet Zelensky at the White House
US President Joe Biden has invited Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky to a meeting at the White House on 12 December. This is reported in a written statement by White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, TASS reported.

"President Biden has invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to a meeting at the White House on Tuesday, 12 December," the press service said. The two leaders will reportedly discuss Ukraine's current needs and "the vital need for continued support from the United States at a critical time."

The White House press service specified that Biden intends to "emphasise the unwavering commitment of the United States to support the people of Ukraine".

Zelensky's previous visit to Washington took place on 21 September. Then the Ukrainian president participated in the events of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in Washington.
