CAFA U-17 Women’s Championship 2026 to Be Held in Tashkent

Tashkent will host the CAFA U-17 Women’s Championship 2026, the Central Asian championship for girls under 17, from September 15 to 19. Four national teams will take part in the tournament: Uzbekistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

The competition will provide a platform for the development of women’s football and young players, while helping them prepare for future regional and international tournaments. It will also give the young footballers valuable international match experience and an opportunity to showcase their potential at the Central Asian level.

Uzbekistan will be represented by its women’s U-17 national team, coached by Mahliyo Sarikova. The team will compete alongside the U-17 sides of Iran, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

The championship in Tashkent will bring together promising young footballers from four Central Asian countries. The tournament will also give the participating teams an opportunity to assess their preparation and gain experience against regional opponents.

The CAFA U-17 Women’s Championship 2026 is aimed at supporting and developing young talent in women’s football. The participation of teams from Uzbekistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan will allow young players to compete in official matches, demonstrate their abilities and continue preparing for future competitions.
