China Begins Mass Delivery of Industrial Humanoid Robots

UBTECH Robotics has announced the world’s first mass delivery of industrial humanoid robots, with hundreds of Walker S2 units already shipped to customers and production starting ahead of schedule.
The Shenzhen-based company is moving from prototype demonstrations to large-scale industrial deployment, strengthening its position in the robotics sector.
UBTECH Robotics reported the launch of mass production and shipment of its industrial humanoid robots Walker S2. According to the company, the first hundreds of units have already left the factory, marking an earlier-than-expected start to full-scale production.
Demand is significant: the order portfolio includes some of the largest players in global manufacturing. The earliest batches have been shipped to BYD, Geely, FAW-Volkswagen, Dongfeng and Foxconn.
The robots will be integrated into production lines and logistics operations where round-the-clock performance and continuous workflow are essential.
The mass rollout of Walker S2 is positioned by UBTECH as a milestone in bringing humanoid robotics into mainstream industrial use.
