Digital Hub of Eurasia: M360 Tech Forum Opens in Samarkand

The city is hosting the major international M360 Eurasia 2026 forum, converging global mobile industry leaders, investors, and state ministers. Over the course of two days, stakeholders will determine how cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and satellite eco-monitoring will reshape daily operations and public services across the entire Eurasian region.
On May 20–21, Samarkand is hosting the M360 Eurasia 2026 international forum, a pivotal platform for the mobile industry and digital innovation. The event brought together Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, top executives from VEON Group (Kaan Terzioglu) and Beeline Uzbekistan (Evgeny Nastradin), alongside representatives from GSMA and the International Telecommunication Union. Discussions center on AI, cloud assets, digital infrastructure, and the automation of government services. On May 21, the forum will feature a dedicated hackathon where developers will showcase green tech initiatives, focusing on utilizing drones, satellites, and GIS applications for solar energy, water supply management, and climate monitoring in Central Asia.
