Erdogan Announces Elimination of Terrorists Following Ankara Attack
Following the recent terrorist attack in Ankara, the Turkish Armed Forces hit more than 470 targets belonging to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in northern Iraq and Syria. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reported this, as cited by TASS. Erdogan stated that, following the attack, pinpoint strikes were carried out on 470 targets of the terrorist organization, resulting in the elimination of 213 terrorists.

The Turkish president received news of the attack after arriving in Kazan to attend the BRICS summit. Last week, a terrorist attack took place in Ankara. Turkish intelligence later determined that those involved were PKK militants who had entered Turkey from Syria. The PKK subsequently claimed responsibility for the attack.
