Türkiye plans to launch its rocket into space. According to TRT Haber, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced this while addressing the youth in Eskisehir.

In his speech, Erdogan referred to Türkiye's astronaut training programme, which he described as a new historic step in Türkiye's space research.

"In the coming years, we will send our own rocket into space with the astronauts we have trained under these programmes," the Turkish leader said.

For information: On 12 September 2023, NASA and Axiom Space announced the completion of the crew of the SpaceX AX-3 (Axiom Mission 3) space mission, which included Türkiye's first astronaut in history, Alper Gezeravcı. He became the first astronaut in the history of Türkiye.
