Implementation of major investment projects with the UAE was discussed

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with a delegation from the United Arab Emirates led by Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazrouei.
At the beginning of the meeting, the minister conveyed to the head of state the sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed Al Nahyan; Prime Minister and Emir of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum; Vice President Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan; and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled Al Nahyan.
The dynamic development of the Uzbek-UAE strategic partnership was particularly noted.
Trade and investment volumes, as well as the number of joint ventures, are growing. A number of new agreements with UAE companies are expected to be signed at the fifth Tashkent Investment Forum.
An agreement was reached to accelerate the implementation of major projects in areas such as green energy, fuel production, transport, logistics, artificial intelligence, and digitalization.
