Joby Aviation Launches First Air Flight to JFK Airport
Joby Aviation has successfully conducted the first demonstration flights of its electric air taxi, connecting central Manhattan with JFK International Airport. The innovative vehicle, which resembles a massive drone, is designed to carry five people. Its key features include vertical takeoff and unique tilting propellers that allow it to transition into high-speed horizontal flight.

Unlike traditional helicopters, the Joby air taxi is battery-powered, eliminating harmful emissions and making it virtually silent. The developers are confident that the commercial launch of the project will permanently transform urban logistics, making air mobility an accessible alternative to ground transportation.
