KIOGE 2024: How is Kazakhstan's oil and gas sector developing in 2024?
How exactly this is happening and what prospects the sector holds will be discussed by representatives of government agencies, businesses, and experts at the KIOGE 2024 "Oil and Gas" conference and exhibition. As is tradition, the KIOGE platform will feature both an exhibition and a conference.

The KIOGE conference will be held from September 25 to 26 in Almaty at the Ritz-Carlton hotel. The main discussion topics will include issues of international cooperation in the oil and gas sector, presentations of key projects in the oil and gas sector, including their current status, procurement plans, and further development prospects. Importantly, the program for the first day, September 25, will focus on discussing investments and implementing energy projects at the international level, while the content on September 26 will include discussions on the development of information technologies and innovations in the industry. For example, the central theme of the plenary session will be the implementation of oil and gas projects within the framework of the sustainable development concept, Kazakhstan's strategies in the context of energy transformation, reducing risks in investment projects, and developing local content.

Speakers at the conference will include Chairman of the Board of "KazMunayGas" Askhat Khasenov, Chairman of the Board of "QazaqGaz" Sanjar Zharkeshov, UAE Minister of Energy Suhail Al Mazroui, Head of OPEC's Oil Research Department Behruz Baykalizade, and many other well-known industry speakers.

Additionally, within the framework of the event, there will be a separate competition for startups in the field of industrial digitalization with the potential to start cooperation with leading companies, organized in collaboration with the “Park of Innovative Technologies” foundation. The competitions will be held in the areas of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, the Internet of Things, big data, 3D printing, and other priorities in digital transformation.

The KIOGE exhibition part will take place from September 25 to 27 at the Atakent exhibition center.
