Chelsea’s press service officially confirmed that Rosenor will lead the first team. Previously, he worked with Derby and Hull, clubs from England’s third and second divisions.

Since 2024, Rosenor has managed French club Strasbourg, which effectively serves as Chelsea’s farm team due to shared ownership. This season, Strasbourg won its Conference League group stage and is currently seventh in Ligue 1.

Rosenor’s appointment follows the dismissal of former head coach Enzo Marescu. The club expressed confidence that the new coach would bring stability and improve the team’s performance in both domestic and European competitions.
