On October 3rd, a significant outage hit Telegram, affecting users in Russia and Uzbekistan. The web version of the messenger was unavailable, messages couldn’t be sent, and the mobile app failed to load. This marks the second major disruption in the last three days.
According to DownDetector, more than 28,000 complaints were registered on October 3rd. Users reported issues with the web version, app access, and message sending.
Another significant outage occurred on October 1st, when users from Russia and other countries experienced problems with Telegram. Interestingly, this disruption coincided with Iran’s missile strike on Israel.
The reasons for today’s outage have not been officially disclosed. Telegram users are hoping for a swift resolution to these issues.
