Meta to Invest Up to $27B in Nebius Infrastructure
The agreement between Meta and Nebius represents one of Meta’s largest deals for computing power. Following the announcement, Nebius shares surged by 18%.

Last week, it was also revealed that Nvidia will invest $2 billion in Nebius. In 2025, Nebius signed a five-year, $20 billion contract with Microsoft.

Nebius, formerly Yandex N.V., was created based on several Yandex projects. Co-founder Arkady Volozh renounced his Russian citizenship and sold his Yandex stake following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Today, Nebius focuses on building and maintaining infrastructure for AI development.

Combined investments from Meta, Microsoft, and Nvidia position Nebius as one of the largest AI infrastructure platforms globally, providing scalable computing resources for developers.
