Specifically, 47 industrial zones have been established in the region. A total of 1,000 projects worth 2.3 trillion soums have been implemented there, providing jobs for 18,000 people. In 2024 alone, products worth 1 trillion soums were produced in these zones, with exports reaching approximately $31 million. At present, 288 investment projects worth $1 billion are under implementation. This year, 119 projects are planned to be launched, creating more than 4,000 new jobs.
