Ukrainian media outlets report that searches were conducted at premises associated with Iryna Mudra, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office overseeing legal affairs and judicial reform, as well as Member of Parliament Vadym Stolar. Stolar was elected to parliament from the "Opposition Platform – For Life" party, which was banned following the full-scale invasion in 2022, and currently belongs to the "Restoration of Ukraine" parliamentary group.

According to official statements from NABU and SAP, the investigation, codenamed "Forest Gump," aims to dismantle an organization directed by one active and one former member of parliament. As part of the probe, authorities released intercepted audio recordings featuring discussions on registering assets under third parties and making references to the Presidential Office. Specific details regarding the charges and the identities of all involved individuals are expected to be disclosed in subsequent stages of the investigation.
