The 41st General Assembly of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) was held in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. A delegation from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, led by First Deputy Chairman Davronbek Kurbanov, took part in the meeting.

New Business Decisions as ICCD Assembly Meets in Mecca
Participants discussed key issues related to the organization’s activities and adopted several important decisions. ICCD President Abdullah Saleh Kamel was re-elected for a new term, and a renewed Board of Directors was formed based on proposals from member chambers.

Within the financial agenda, reports for 2024 and the budget for 2026 were approved. The calendar of international business forums and economic events for 2026 was also presented.

The adopted decisions are expected to strengthen trade and economic ties across the Islamic world, increase investment flows, and create new opportunities for entrepreneurs.
