New $10 Million Projects to be Implemented at "Sokin Savdo Servis" Cluster

Continuing his visit to the Andijan region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the operations of the "Sokin Savdo Servis" poultry cluster in the Balykchi district.
Poultry meat plays a significant role in the population's diet due to its nutritional value and affordability. Consequently, the country places great emphasis on establishing large-scale poultry complexes, localizing production, and ensuring a stable supply of high-quality products to the market.
The "Sokin Savdo Servis" cluster was established in 2010. Today, it comprises five poultry farms in the Andijan region and three in the Namangan region. A facility in the Tashkent region produces poultry feed.
The cluster operates a complete production cycle, encompassing feed production, poultry rearing, slaughtering, meat processing and packaging, and delivery to consumers. The meat processing complex is fully automated and meets rigorous hygiene standards.
The total project cost is $29 million, and the cluster employs 417 people.
Currently, the complex is raising 1.5 million broiler chickens. Its production capacity allows for the annual rearing of 8.2 million broilers and the production of 20,600 tons of poultry meat.
The complex has the capacity to process 55,000 tons of chicken meat and semi-finished products annually. Products are manufactured in compliance with Halal, HACCP, and ISO standards.
Since the beginning of this year, the cluster has also launched a breeding operation. It currently houses 25,000 breeding laying hens, with plans to produce 7.6 million broiler chicks annually from 9 million eggs. By the end of 2027, a rendering line for processing poultry waste will be launched, and a multi-tier cage housing system for poultry will be implemented. Ten million dollars will be allocated for the execution of these two projects.
Furthermore, there is a proposal to integrate idle or financially struggling poultry farms into a unified cooperative system with the cluster. This initiative will enable the restoration of 350–400 jobs and the additional rearing of 1.7 million birds.
The Head of State was briefed on the cluster’s production processes, finished products, and promising new projects.
