The parties discussed the modernization and expansion of the locomotive fleet, taking into account the development of railway infrastructure and the country’s transit potential.
Discussions covered the supply of locomotives, including long-term maintenance services, with the involvement of U.S. financial institutions. The conversation also addressed the establishment of maintenance facilities in Uzbekistan, the local production of components, and personnel training.
Additionally, the meeting touched upon the creation of a service center for mining equipment, as well as cooperation regarding diesel generator sets.
