In the updated May rankings of the World Taekwondo Federation, Uzbekistan once again made a great impression: two-time Olympic champion Ulugbek Rashitov holds the top spot in the world in the -68 kg category, and Svetlana Osipova entered the top three among women.

The World Taekwondo Federation has published the latest ranking of athletes for May, and Uzbekistan continues to demonstrate outstanding results.

The main pride remains Ulugbek Rashitov, who confidently leads in the -68 kg weight category. As a reminder, Rashitov is a two-time Olympic champion, and his position remains undisputed on the world stage.

Among the best is Svetlana Osipova, the silver medalist of the Paris Olympics. She is in second place in the over 73 kg weight category, strengthening her reputation as one of the world's strongest taekwondo athletes.

Other national team representatives are also showing excellent results:
Jahongir Xudoyberdiyev (-54 kg) and Jasurbek Jaysunov (-80 kg) are confidently in third place in their respective weight categories.
Shuhrat Salaev (6th place, up to 87 kg) and Marat Mavlonov (8th place, over 87 kg) also made it into the top 10.

The consistently high positions of Uzbek taekwondo athletes in the world rankings confirm that the country is not only ready for future international competitions, but also has real opportunities for new medals.
