This requires not only the modernization of weapons and equipment but also the training of a new generation of specialists. Our country is consistently working in this area. New units for the use of drones and countering them have been formed within the military, and a training system for unmanned aerial vehicle operators, engineers, and robotics specialists has been established. During the presentation, the head of state was given a report on the activities of these mobile units, as well as on the training of relevant personnel. Special attention is given to the reform of military education. In 2025, at the initiative of the President, measures were taken to develop this area and train military personnel with modern knowledge and practical skills. As a result, all military higher education institutions were elevated to institute status, a unified chain of command was created, and the University of Military Security and Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established. Based on an analysis of modern combat operations, the actual needs of the troops, and the experience of leading higher education institutions, new qualification requirements, curricula, and programs are being introduced. Training is built on the principle of combining theory and practice, ensuring that future officers acquire the skills necessary for service in modern conditions during their studies. As part of the new model for military personnel training at the bachelor&#39;s level, cadets will undergo in-depth study of foreign languages, information technology, and artificial intelligence. For the first time, a three-tier training system is being introduced for command and staff officers, based on advanced international experience and the study of modern armed conflicts. Along with this, NCO training will be expanded. One of the innovations will be the introduction of distance learning for sergeants at military universities in six civilian bachelor&#39;s degree programs. The training system for aviation and unmanned aerial vehicle specialists is also being improved, and a unified certification procedure for Armed Forces personnel in this field is being introduced. The presentation also addressed issues of army digitalization and cybersecurity. In recent years, the Ministry of Defense&#39;s communications infrastructure has been modernized, modern information and communication technologies are being implemented, and secure data exchange channels are being developed. Military programmers have developed approximately 50 information systems for various military activities. In particular, defense agencies have created the &quot;Prizyv&quot; electronic information system, integrated with 19 ministries and departments. This has enabled the transfer of 39 types of certificates to an online format and, for the first time, the conduct of conscription activities entirely electronically. In military medicine, a unified medical information system and telemedicine have been implemented, and integration with the Ministry of Health&#39;s &quot;D-MED&quot; system has been ensured. In response to modern challenges, the Ministry of Defense has established an Information Security Monitoring Center, whose mission is to promptly identify and prevent cyber threats. The presentation proposed a set of measures to further develop automated control systems, expand the use of robotic and autonomous systems, and conduct research and development. It is envisaged to establish a Main Directorate for Digital Technologies, a Department of Artificial Intelligence Technologies, and a cybersecurity laboratory within the Ministry of Defense&#39;s central office. A satellite communications center will be established to ensure reliable communications throughout the country. To implement a unified digital policy in the defense sector, the position of Deputy Minister of Defense has been created, and military districts will be staffed with the positions of deputy commanders for digitalization, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Following the presentation, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief approved the proposals and signed a number of administrative documents aimed at further digitalization of the army and the implementation of modern information and communication systems and artificial intelligence technologies.
