Russia and Uzbekistan have entered a new stage of interregional cooperation, signing a roadmap for partnership for 2025–2030.

During the meeting of the Russia–Uzbekistan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, the two sides signed a roadmap aimed at strengthening interregional collaboration for the period 2025–2030. The document was approved by the co-chairs of the commission — Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov and Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjayev.

In their presence, a Memorandum of Understanding was also signed between JSC “SME Corporation” and Uzbekistan’s Agency for the Development of Light Industry. The agreements aim to expand industrial cooperation, enhance business ties, and increase economic activity between the regions of both countries.
