Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, met in Ashgabat with Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice-President of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, and Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The discussions focused on further cooperation and joint initiatives.
Mirziyoyeva said meetings with representatives of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan had become a valued tradition, creating new opportunities for collaboration.
“With each meeting, we develop more shared ideas and find more opportunities to work together,” she noted.
She emphasised that Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan are connected by longstanding friendship, mutual trust and shared values. Mirziyoyeva expressed hope that future meetings would lead to initiatives that benefit people and bring the three countries closer.
During her visit, Mirziyoyeva also attended the international exhibition “MAMA. Mother Nature”, which opened in Ashgabat with the participation of representatives of the two charitable foundations.
The exhibition promotes a caring attitude towards the environment. Mirziyoyeva said the artists had conveyed an important message: nature deserves the same love, care and respect as mothers do. She stressed the importance of passing these values on to children.
The Head of the Presidential Administration congratulated the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on the exhibition’s opening and thanked the organisers for an initiative bringing together art and environmental awareness.
The meeting and exhibition formed part of the Ashgabat visit programme aimed at strengthening humanitarian ties and encouraging the exchange of experience between Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.
