Saida Mirziyoyeva Discusses Tashkent International Financial Centre With BlackRock

In New York, Saida Mirziyoyeva met with BlackRock’s leadership to discuss the launch of the Tashkent International Financial Centre in 2027. The meeting was attended by BlackRock President Robert Kapito, Vice Chairman Thomas Donilon, Global Infrastructure Partners Chairman and CEO Adebayo Ogunlesi, and BlackRock Global Head of Financial and Strategic Investors Charles Hatami.
The sides discussed the concept and structure of the future centre. Mirziyoyeva said BlackRock was assisting with this work.
A joint roundtable with representatives of the US business community was also held in New York. Participants discussed Uzbekistan’s and the region’s development prospects over the coming decades.
“Uzbekistan is opening up to large-scale, high-quality investment,” Saida Mirziyoyeva said.
