Saida Mirziyoyeva Meets UAE President in Abu Dhabi

Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, met with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi. The talks focused on further developing bilateral cooperation, including trade and economic ties and the development of artificial intelligence.
At the beginning of the meeting, Saida Mirziyoyeva conveyed the greetings and best wishes of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the UAE President. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, in turn, asked her to convey his greetings to President Mirziyoyev and his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Uzbekistan and its people.
The sides discussed prospects for further strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and the UAE. Particular attention was given to opportunities to expand trade and economic cooperation and develop areas of mutual interest. According to the UAE side, the meeting addressed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in support of the development goals of both countries.
The development of artificial intelligence was also among the topics discussed. According to the Uzbek side, Saida Mirziyoyeva and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed touched upon issues related to AI, a field that is increasingly important to technological development.
The meeting took place in Abu Dhabi on September 26. It was also attended by Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; and other officials.
Following the meeting, Saida Mirziyoyeva expressed her gratitude to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the warm reception. The talks marked another high-level contact between Uzbekistan and the UAE aimed at advancing bilateral relations.
