Saida Mirziyoyeva: The IT world can be a place for everyone, regardless of gender

With the support of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education and the NGO Digital Generation Uzbekistan, the Republican competition "Girls of the Digital Generation-2024" was organized from 25 to 29 March as part of the "Digital Generation" project. This was announced by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
According to reports, the aim of this project is to direct women and girls towards modern professions in the field of information technology, as well as to support their ideas and projects.
"Your efforts and achievements in the world of technology not only inspire but also demonstrate that the IT world can be a place for everyone, regardless of gender," emphasized the First Assistant to the President, Saida Mirziyoyeva, in her Telegram channel.
At the "Girls of the Digital Generation" IT event, both online and offline classes were conducted in various fields such as Digital Art, 3D Modelling, Startup Web-Site (Coding), Graphic Design, with the participation of experienced mentors.
Over 200 girls, including 15 participants from Afghanistan, underwent offline training, while around 3000 young people interested in this field took part in online sessions.
