Saida Mirziyoyeva Visits Tashkent University of Architecture and Civil Engineering

Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration, visited Tashkent University of Architecture and Civil Engineering to review its activities. Around 10,000 students are currently studying at the university across four fields.
The university is actively integrating digital solutions into its administrative, educational and research processes, developing dual education and commercializing scientific developments. Its campus is also being developed as a space for implementing sustainable solutions.
Saida Mirziyoyeva noted that the development of modern and green cities requires specialists capable of creating and implementing new architectural and engineering solutions.
“Uzbekistan’s cities will not become modern and green on their own. It is important to nurture specialists who can think outside the box: architects, designers, engineers and others who will create and implement environmentally sustainable architectural and engineering solutions,” the statement published on October 5 said.
The training of professional specialists in architecture, design and engineering is therefore being emphasized as an important component of developing modern and environmentally sustainable cities in Uzbekistan.
