Samsung teases its first ring-shaped health tracker
In his Threads, industry analyst Avi Greengart said that he has examined Samsung's smart ring prototype in detail and noted that the Galaxy Ring is very lightweight, allowing it to be worn all day long, even while sleeping. Greengart described the device as "ridiculously" light.

The ring will be available in three sizes, including a size 13. The analyst was probably referring to the US size grid, where size 13 rings have an inner diameter of 0.874 inches or 22.20mm.

The smart ring is designed to track health, wellness and sleep metrics, and in many ways will resemble other smart rings on the market such as the Oura. No release date or price has yet been disclosed, but the Galaxy Ring will go on sale "later this year," the analyst assured.
