The President of Uzbekistan approved the composition of the Republican Commission to assist Palestinian patients and their accompanying persons during their stay in the country. Sardor Umurzakov, advisor to the head of state, has been appointed head of the commission.
According to the presidential decree, a Republican Commission has been established in Uzbekistan to organize the reception, accommodation, and social adaptation of Palestinian citizens arriving for treatment, as well as those accompanying them.
The commission was headed by the president's advisor on strategic development, Sardor Umurzakov. Mansurbek Olloyorov, Presidential Advisor on Social Affairs, has been appointed as his deputy.
The commission brings together senior officials from the Ministries of Health, Education, Economy and Finance, Internal and Foreign Affairs, as well as representatives of the banking sector and business associations.
Its main tasks include organizing medical assistance, providing housing and social support, legal aid, and cooperation with international and humanitarian organizations.
