The leaders exchanged views on pressing issues of bilateral relations as well as international politics and regional cooperation.

The Kyrgyz President praised the conditions created at the ski resort and its modern infrastructure, which meets high global standards.

An agreement was reached to promote joint projects aimed at establishing resort-recreation centers, taking into account the unique geolandscape and diverse nature of both countries.

Sadir Japarov shared his impressions of the “Amirsoy” ski resort on his Facebook page.

“Ninety-four percent of our country’s territory is occupied by mountains. Each of our seven regions could have such resorts. But we have almost none. Why? Because since gaining independence, from ordinary people to presidents, we have been preoccupied only with politics. Every day there were rallies, every day there were weddings. We did not pay attention to the economy, tourism, and other important sectors,” said the Kyrgyz President.

“Looking at the ‘Amirsoy’ ski base, I was amazed. My colleague Shavkat Mirziyoyev built this base from scratch to the highest level. Flawless. Bravo. So many people have been provided with jobs. Millions of tourists come here to relax. The service level is no less than that of Europe. Everything is top-notch,” wrote Sadir Japarov.
