The parties have signed a memorandum of cooperation under which 2gis.uz will publish information on job vacancies across all 585 mahallas in the capital. The first stage covers every mahalla in the Chilanzar district, where the platform has already listed its first current vacancies.

Users will be able to find jobs near their homes, check advertised salaries and qualification requirements, and select suitable offers. This makes location an additional factor in the job search, alongside applicants’ professional skills and experience.

The initiative is expected to simplify the search for employment, save commuting time and reduce transport costs. It also supports the “15-minute city” concept, which aims to make everyday needs and services, including access to work, more accessible within a short distance of residents’ homes.

Following the pilot launch in Chilanzar, the service is intended to provide vacancy information for all 585 mahallas in Tashkent. This would give residents across the capital access to a single digital platform for finding suitable local employment opportunities.

The Tashkent city administration has also expressed its readiness to implement similar projects with other companies. The initiative with 2GIS represents a practical step towards the “15-minute city” model, with a focus on improving residents’ access to urban services and opportunities.
