A resolution of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, No. 214, was adopted to amend and supplement certain decisions of the Government, in connection with the strengthening of social protection for military personnel.

The compensation amount for military personnel renting housing has been increased
According to the decision, the monthly monetary compensation paid to military personnel for renting housing has been increased by 20%. The following changes were made to the compensation amounts:

In Tashkent — up to 4.8 times the minimum wage;

In Nukus and regional centers — up to 3.6 times the minimum wage;

In other cities and settlements in the republic — up to 2 times the minimum wage.

Also, from June 1, 2025, for military personnel who have served more than 10 years, the initial down payment for a mortgage loan to purchase (build) housing has been set at 35% of the housing's calculated value.

Previously, this amount was 25% for all.

The families of deceased military personnel and military personnel with disabilities will be provided with housing on a priority basis, and if they have already been provided with housing under a long-term preferential mortgage loan, the unpaid credit amount and the calculated interest will be fully reimbursed from the State budget.
