The event was also attended by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, high-ranking representatives of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, and other foreign guests.

The participants discussed current issues of ensuring international and regional security, countering terrorism and extremism, as well as new challenges and threats associated with the development of digital technologies.

Particular attention was paid to expanding practical cooperation between states, exchanging experiences, and improving mechanisms for preventing radicalization, particularly among young people.

In his speech, the head of state praised the importance of the Aqaba Process in the context of growing threats to security and stability.

It was noted that the rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies not only creates enormous opportunities for humanity but also raises new challenges. In this regard, high-quality education and the creation of conditions for the full realization of human potential are considered an important foundation for security.

To harmonize humanistic traditions of knowledge and education with the achievements of modern science, the President of Uzbekistan put forward the initiative "Digital Development for Human Benefits." The main goal is to harness the potential of artificial intelligence to disseminate knowledge, strengthen an atmosphere of mutual trust, and create new opportunities for personal development.

Support was expressed for the UN Global Dialogue on the Governance of Artificial Intelligence.

To strengthen global efforts, a commitment was made to open a Regional Office of the UN Office of Counter-Terrorism in Uzbekistan. This office will provide practical support to Central Asian countries in launching and operating channels for warning of terrorist content, identifying cases of terrorist financing, improving the skills of specialists, and effectively using artificial intelligence for these purposes.

It was also proposed to launch an international program, "Enlightenment Against Ignorance in the Digital Age," at the Center for Islamic Civilization in Tashkent. Its main objectives will be to create multilingual resources, prepare religious leaders for work in the information environment, and support young researchers who promote the humanistic values of Islam.

Concluding his speech, the head of state emphasized that the future of artificial intelligence depends not only on technological progress but also on the purposes for which it is used. Therefore, the common goal should be to transform new technologies not as a source of threats, but as a powerful tool for ensuring peace, security, and human development.
