On August 29, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit the memorial sites of Tashkent and participate in the celebrations of the 34th anniversary of the country's independence, where he will deliver a speech to the people.
Today, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will participate in the commemoration ceremony of the victims of repression in the "Shahidlar xotirasi" alley and lay flowers at the Independence Monument in the "New Uzbekistan" park.
In the evening, President Mirziyoyev will take part in a festive event marking the 34th anniversary of the country’s independence and deliver a congratulatory address to the nation.
