To the Prosecutor's Office Employees and Veterans

Uzbekistan

Dear employees and veterans of the sector! From the bottom of my heart, I sincerely congratulate you on January 8 – Prosecutor's Office Employees' Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In recent years, along with all other sectors and industries, the country has also seen significant changes in the work of the prosecutor's office. The system's employees have become closer to the people, ensuring human honor and dignity, their rights and freedoms, legitimate interests, as well as the rule of law and justice directly at the local level.

They are particularly active in organizing regular receptions and resolving citizens' problems. Dear professionals!

You are undoubtedly deeply aware that today we face such pressing challenges as further enhancing the effectiveness of prosecutorial bodies, consistently implementing scientific approaches and methods throughout the system, and training educated, proactive, and qualified personnel committed to upholding the rule of law. In particular, the continued development of prosecutorial bodies, both as oversight agencies and as a system for training investigators, in strengthening the protection of human rights through the digitalization of investigative processes is a pressing need.

At a time when the fight against corruption in our country is entering a new phase, every employee must lead by example in further strengthening the transparency of prosecutorial activities and eradicating this scourge in the system in which you serve and in other areas. Because our people see prosecutors as guardians of the law and defenders of justice.

I am confident that you, highly appreciating this attitude, will continue to work tirelessly to justify the trust of our people.

Once again, I congratulate you all on your professional holiday and wish you good health, success in your extremely responsible work, and peace and prosperity in your homes.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev,
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
