According to the Statistics Agency, nearly 6.5 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes between January and October 2024. This marks a 17.2% increase, or 951,300 more visitors, compared to the same period last year.

The largest influx came from neighboring countries: Tajikistan (1.878 million), Kyrgyzstan (1.870 million), and Kazakhstan (1.267 million). Significant numbers also arrived from Russia (686,700), Turkmenistan (145,000), and Turkey (95,700).

Asian nations such as China (57,700) and India (55,900) demonstrated steady interest in Uzbekistan, while South Korea and Italy contributed 36,500 and 36,300 visitors, respectively.

These numbers highlight Uzbekistan’s growing status as a global tourism hub. The country's rich cultural heritage and expanding tourism infrastructure continue to attract travelers from around the world.
