Trump accused Putin of "madness"
US President Donald Trump called Russian President Vladimir Putin's actions "crazy" and accused him of "unjustifiably killing many people." He stated this in a post on his Truth Social social network, commenting on the latest Russian army strikes on Ukraine.

"He's completely lost his mind! He kills many people without any need, and I'm not just talking about soldiers. Missiles and drones are firing on Ukrainian cities for no apparent reason," the White House chief wrote.

According to Trump, he had a long-standing relationship with Putin, but "something happened." He also suggested that the Kremlin seeks to control not just a part of Ukraine, but the entire country: "I have always said that he wants all of Ukraine... But if he does this, it will lead to the fall of Russia."

Speaking to journalists at Morristown Airport, Trump confirmed his position: "I'm dissatisfied with what Putin is doing. He kills many people, and I don't know what happened to him." The US President added that he was shocked by the scale of the attacks and the behavior of the Russian leader: "He launches rockets on cities, kills people - and I don't like it at all."

Trump also criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, accusing him of escalating the conflict. "President Zelenskyy is not helping his country with his statements in any way. Everything he says only worsens the situation - I don't like it, and it's time to end it," Trump said. He emphasized that this war is the result of Zelenskyy, Putin, and Biden's actions: "This war would never have started if I had been president."

Meanwhile, according to Ukrainian Interior Minister Igor Klimenko, 12 people were killed and more than 60 injured as a result of Russian army attacks the day before.
